Overnight Bircher muesli dream
If you don't have much time in the morning or would like to take your breakfast with you to the office or school/university, this excellent Bircher muesli is just right for you. You can prepare it the day before and it will keep in a screw-top jar for up to 3 days.
Of course, this is a very healthy breakfast. In addition to oat flakes, dairy products (or plant-based milk alternatives) and fresh fruit, it contains nuts and seeds with numerous unsaturated fatty acids (e.g. omega-6 in sunflower seeds). All in all, a very rich meal that keeps you full for a long time - even for me.

Ingredients:
50 g tender oat flakes
15g sunflower seeds
1 tbsp chia or ground flax seeds
1 medium-sized grated apple or pear
120 ml milk or plant-based drink
1-2 tbsp raisins or chopped dates
2 tbsp yoghurt e.g. coconut yoghurt
1 tsp maple syrup or honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 handful of berries
Preparation:
Grate the apple with a grater.
Mix all remaining ingredients with the grated apple and season with maple syrup or honey.
Pour the finished mixture into a screw-top jar and place in the refrigerator overnight.
