Do you enjoy the sun as much as we do? We could actually jump around beaming all day long. Spring is in the air and gives us an incredible boost of energy.

We already announced it in the title of the newsletter - we're saying goodbye to our chocolate granola and sending it on a summer break until October. You can find out the exact reasons why you can quickly refill your supply and what alternatives there are below.

We also introduce you to one of our partners in the current issue. Today the journey takes us to the other side of the Rhine - to the new EDEKA Brüggemeier market in Emmerich.

We also don’t want to withhold our radio appearance on Antenne Niederrhein in April from you. The Kleve District Economic Development Agency kindly invited us to the program “Success Stories from the Kleve District”, in which we were allowed to introduce ourselves and our story. In the last newsletter we asked you to take part in our survey. The response was really great and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much. Dear chocolate fan, you have to be very strong now...

The title of our newsletter already hinted at it. The Mandel Britta chocolate edition will now say goodbye for the summer break.

We already had some challenges when it came to chocolate last year due to the high temperatures - especially when it came to shipping and processing.

Since the quality of our products is very important to us, we have decided to only sell the chocolate version from October to April.

But don't worry, you may have already noticed that we are currently planning a fruity replacement especially for the summer.

New EDEKA Brüggemeier in Emmerich

Hello Emmerich,

Anyone who has been following our story for a while may know that we are already represented with our granolas in some of the Brüggemeier family's EDEKA markets in Kleve, Kevelaer and Geldern. A new location recently opened on the other side of the Rhine in Emmerich and we are lucky that you can now find one of our displays there.


The nice thing is that we already have many Emmericher fans who can now take our products with them when they do their weekly shopping.

As always, we are happy as snow queens that we can expand the regional range of this modern and beautiful EDEKA market to include our roasted mueslis.

On Easter Sunday morning we were guests on the radio at Antenne Niederrhein - in the program “Success stories from the Kleve district - young companies introduce themselves” - initiated by the Kleve district economic development agency.

The introduction to the program is given by managing director Brigitte Jansen.
