What are apple chips?

What types of apple chips are there?

There are different types of apple chips that are made in different ways. Most apple chips are made from raw apples that are first washed, cored, and thinly sliced. The apple slices are then dried, either in the sun or in a special drying oven.

However, some apple chips are also made from boiled or baked apples. This type of apple chips is often touted as a sweeter and softer alternative to the dried apple chips. To make cooked or baked apple chips, the apples are first peeled, cored, and thinly sliced. The slices are then boiled in water or apple juice or baked in the oven until soft and sweet.
